For those that haven’t seen the 16 pandas born in Oct 2005
These little ones were born in The Sichuan Wolong Panda Protection and Breed Center in Southern China.
The zoo artificially inseminated 38 females. These were the first 16 born, and include 5 sets are twins. The others were due later in the fall.
The cubs are weighed and measured every five days by a special panda nurse. The heaviest tips the scale at just over 24 pounds, while the lightest weighs about 11 pounds.
