Only recently did I learn about Gematria and in many ways it was just the name for something I always intuitively knew existed. Probably I had been living by my own gematria code, which as it turns out wasn’t far wrong but more superstition than method. Now my eyes are wide open.
Gematria is an alphanumeric code of assigning a numerical value to a name, word or phrase based on its letters. A single word can yield multiple values depending on the cipher used. Gematria originated as an Assyro-Babylonian-Greek system of alphanumeric code or cipher that was later adopted into Jewish culture.
Mysticism is ancient but not taught in school, except as perhaps and overview, however there are schools that only teach this knowledge and they’re been quietly operating since the beginning of time. There exists an entire treasure trove of important information, in this super gnosis.
Many scholars have claimed that John the Baptist was an Essene, which was a breakaway faction of orthodox Judaism and they most certainly would have studied the Kabbalah. The Essenes were the Mystery Holy Men Behind the Dead Sea Scrolls.
Kabbalah is an esoteric method, discipline, and school of thought in Jewish mysticism. A traditional Kabbalist in Judaism is called a Mequbbāl.
Numerology is any belief in the divine or mystical relationship between a number and one or more coinciding events. It is also the study of the numerical value of the letters in words, names, and ideas. It is often associated with the paranormal, alongside astrology and similar divinatory arts.
Throughout most of its history, astrology was considered a scholarly tradition and was common in academic circles. The word astrology comes from the early Latin word astrologia, which derives from the Greek ἀστρολογία—from ἄστρον astron (“star”) and -λογία -logia, (“study of”—”account of the stars”).
Gematria encompasses all the hidden knowledge of mystic sages because symbols are the actual basis of words and language. There has only ever been one way to represent the word of God to other people, and that was with symbols. Now we need to learn the more rudimentary sybmology to the parts and pieces that make up our words and language, in order to gain the full and complete access to the power of universal wisdom.
