The most amazing opportunity in modern time in my mind, is the potential of algorithmic trading of cryptocurrency or FOREX and MLM (multi-level marketing).

Trading systems can cream cryptos because they are so volatile but fundamentally, for the foreseeable future, they’re mostly headed upward, especially the ICO’s but this entire new “security” (same as a stock) is heading upward and this idea leverages people’s greed and the fact that they feel they missed out on BitCoin, add to that that a person can start marketing and promoting for free, or buy-in with a minimum of $60 worth of BitCoin/Etherium, it empowers Mom’s and Pop’s to jump in and start talking up how they just got into BitCoin (and you can too). People with dough will plow hoards into this, unlike other MLM products, so in your downline you may have a group of people starting with $100k, as that is what is happening in London (my upline is in London). The company is called USI Tech Intl. registered in Dubai UAE, they’re about to grow massive and we’re on the ground floor.

I’ve been studying this sector (hybrid technology and pyramid marketing) and a good old highschool friend from Kelowna, (Karate champion and self made millionaire), was making a killing on one of these programs (called CoinXL) but then it was bought by a bigger company and I was put on hold while a new company was taking shape. Then as I kept researching I came across the most amazing entrepreneur I’ve ever seen (for us) and he is in Brazil right now, he’s a German named Horst Jicha and he built several huge firms and just before retiring stumbled onto the above mentioned hybrid ideology. You must watch the 15 minute interview of Horst Jicha.

See this video on the Digital Tycoons channel about the founder Horst Jicha: https://youtu.be/xnskaw66XBg

And join my team by clicking on the link that say’s “Get started now” – https://siliconpalms.usitech-int.com/

This is the easiest duplicate way to become a BitCoin Billionaire faster than any other way. Your friends and family can help their people too, this is perfect timing for helping allot of people.

Belem do Para, Brazil - November 2017

The most amazing thing happened to me, when I saw this river with my own eyes, experienced this city, and realized why they named it Bethlehem.

I’ll be adding more photos here as I process my first week back in Brazil and first time in my life on the rio Amazonas

Many years ago I was interviewed and published in Gringoes.com and have always followed the best Expat website in Brazil, so I found it very appropriate that I should borrow a story by Pedro Souza for Gringoes.com

18 Astonishing Facts About the Amazon Rainforest

Covering most the northwest of Brazil as well as parts of Peru, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Chile, Suriname, Guyana and French Guyana, the Amazon Rainforest is the largest rainforest in the world. This forest has always fascinated and inspired those who have seen its beauty and amazing biodiversity. To get you better acquainted with it, we have compiled some facts about this wonderful forest.

Running through 8 countries from the Andes to the Atlantic Ocean and passing through the Amazon Rainforest, the Amazon River is the largest river in the world in terms of volume. It deposits 12.6 million liters of water per minute in the Atlantic Ocean. It is also the second longest river in the world, standing behind only the Nile River in Egypt.

The forest took more than 50 million years to form

It is believed that more than 5 million people inhabited the Amazon Rainforest at one point. By 1980 its population stood at less than 200,000. Nowadays, there is an estimated 2,500 people inhabiting the forest.

Archeological evidence found inside a cave known as Caverna da Pedra Pintada (Cave of the Painted Rock) suggest that humans settled in the Amazon at least 11,200 years ago.

The Amazon Basin covers an area of 7,000,000 square kilometers, of which 5,500,000 square kilometers are covered by rainforest. Currently, the Amazon Rainforest represents half of all the world’s rainforests. In fact it is so large that if it was a country it would be the 9th largest in the world.

It is estimated that the Amazon Rainforest has over 390 billion trees. Unfortunately, that number decreases every day.

There are more fish species in the Amazon rainforest than in all of Europe. Fish play a key role in the diet and life of many of the forest’s inhabitants.

In 1542, Spanish explorer and conquistador Francisco de Orellana became the first European to travel the length of the Amazon River.

The Amazon rainforest is the most biodiverse forest in the world. So far, biologists have already catalogued around 2.5 million insects, 2,200 fishes, 1,300 birds, 430 amphibians, 40,000 plants, 380 reptiles and 430 mammals that live in it.

A third of all bird species discovered so far live in the Amazon Rainforest.

There are around 215 ethnic groups living in the Amazon Rainforest, speaking over 170 different languages.

More than 70% of the deforestation of the forest is currently caused by cattle ranching.

The forest is sometimes referred to as the “lungs of the planet” because it produces around 20% of the world’s oxygen.

There are around 3,000 known edible fruits species in the amazon, of which only 200 are cultivated. The natives eat around 1,500 of all these species.

An estimated 50 tribes that have never had any contact with civilization live in the Amazon Rainforest.

The loudest creature in the Amazon rainforest is the Toucan, which can be heard from almost a kilometer away.

A single hectare of the Amazon Rainforest hold around 900 tons of living plants.

The Amazon rainforest receives around 3 meters of rainfall every year.

We’re told that “Global Warming”, now conveniently called “Climate Change”, is a threat to Agriculture and therefore an issue of National Security. As a National Security issue, whatever they do to combat climate change, can be kept out of the public domain.

Bill Vander ZalmFor years, many people have observed, what we were told to be, “Con-Trails” (Airplane engine condensation trails), but different from the contrails as we used to see them. Instead of dissipating quickly, they spread, stayed in the atmosphere for a pro-longed period, and if a lot of them, criss-crossing, caused a more cloudy sky. In the Pacific Northwest, we often suffer cloudy skies, the evidence was not always visible, but many people here, as elsewhere, referred to the cloud forming trails as “Chem-Trails”, trails not caused by water condensing but trails full of toxic substances to supposedly fight Global Warming.

In government circles it is referred to as “Geo-engineering”, it’s manipulating the earth weather system. Scary stuff, especially when we consider the enormous capabilities of the HAARP technology. For the purpose of our submission, to seek information, Geo-engineering and Chem-Trails are defined as a military-industrial complex program in partnership with private contractors and possibly major fuel suppliers and airline companies, whereby planes spray particulate matter into the atmosphere that would otherwise not be there.

It may seem ‘far-fetched’ to some, but it’s only recently that we found out a Drone can see a human face on the ground, from 10,000 ft. up, that the government can monitor every phone call we make and every email we send and a terrorist can detonate a bomb by using a cell-phone from miles away.

Chem-Trails are said to consist of tiny particles of the very harmful toxins, Aluminum and Barium. Toxins that we inhale, poison our water and kill the soil. We can avoid cancer causing second hand smoke, but there’s no way to avoid the far more toxic particles that fall from the sky. Already diseases like Cancer, Alzheimer, Lou Gehrichs, Huntingtons, Parkinsons, Autism and Bone diseases are at a highest level ever, all of which could be directly linked to Aluminum.

Whenever man manipulates nature, be it for profit or politics, the cost and consequences are horrific. Events like the Hurricanes in the East, the Tornadoes in the Mid-West, the flooding in Toronto, the unprecedented flooding in Calgary, the loss of millions of trees in B.C. due to a pine beetle epidemic, will all be attributed to “Mother Nature” and Climate change and not a mention of Geoengineering.

I would highly recommend that anyone wanting further information, check the internet for well known Neuro Surgeon Dr. Russell L. Blaylock who tells us about Social Engineering by the Elitists, funded by such foundations as “Rockefellers”, Ford and Carnegie.

According to documents released by the National Academy of Sciences, the CIA is funding a scientific study to determine the feasibility of altering the planet’s climate, in order to stave off climate change. When a government agency does a study, it might well be to justify activities already in play.

No such activity, as spraying the atmosphere with toxic chemicals could ever take place without government consent, Federally, State or Provincially and without a detailed agreement governing times, places and materials used. The government of Maui, Hawaii is now considering an Ordinance (law) prohibiting the release of aerosols and other particulates into the atmosphere without informed consent from the people of Maui.

Neither Federal, State or Provincial government has ever announced such a “Climate Control Program” nor denied it existed.

I’m aware that any attempt at rationalizing complicated problems will be characterized, by the Elitists and those they control, as Conspiracy theories, and some will be, but this is then used to stop all attempts at creating a public awareness. Not too long ago, mention of governments telephone evesdropping or screening all our emails, would have been tagged as Conspiracy theory at its worst.

(1) I, Bill Vander Zalm, request through “Freedom of Information”, both Federal and Provincial, all information on file about “Climate Control Programs” with the government or anyone of its Ministries.

(2) I, Bill Vander Zalm, request that Municipal Councils, City Councils and Regional Boards pass a resolution to say that “no particulate matter for climate control be sprayed in the atmosphere above their jurisdiction, without informed consent” and that the issue be presented to the annual meeting of the Union of Municipalities for debate and consideration this September.

Please help promote this page on the internet!

Silicon Palms and me have a place in Canada and believe it or not there are palm trees in British Columbia, especially along the Pacific coast of Vancouver Island but even right in the city of Vancouver, occasionally on a rooftop but frequently along the path of the beaches. Naturally palm trees in Vancouver are transplants and most are protected during the winter, wrapped in burlap sheets to survive the cold.

Today was a wonderful day for Canada’s birthday, as it fell on a clear-blue summer Saturday, for the city-dwellers to enjoy the perfect weather for a day at the beach in Vancouver.

Vancouver has been an amazing experience for me, the best British Columbia springtime in memory. My time here has been exhilarating and inspiring. The exhilaration is from the beauty of nature and inspiration from the young entrepreneurs I meet. The Asian business communities are thriving and one such great example is the China Canada Business Council, they acts as an economic development incubator for enterprise and investment coming from Canada, as well as resources and expertise flowing to China.

It’s truly an exciting time in the evolution of Canada China relations and the very best time to be involved in providing information related to Hong Kong, as the IFC between east and west. My team and I have knowledge and experience in cross-border finance that is indispensable for SME’s (small to medium sized enterprise) that are developing projects in distant places.

Vancouver in the spring and summer is awesome for bike transport and the city has a public service called Mobi-bikes.ca which I joined and have used every day. The public bikes are blue and kept in blue racks which are placed throughout the city, especially at the metro-transit location, sea-bus and subway etc… very convenient to ride across town, or in my case all over and around Stanley Park and the beaches of Vancouver. Whenever I have a meeting it often begins with a bike ride and almost always ends with a long ride around the seawall, under the Lion’s Gate bridge and home to English Bay.

Living amongst foreigners is enjoyable too, on any given day, I hear several foreign languages and cross paths and enjoy the scenery with people from the farthest reaches of the planet. Vancouver is the melting-pot of Canada.

True story; yesterday I ordered Chinese food for 3 people, it was more impressive and more delicious than any Cantonese Chinese dishes I’d eaten in years. When we were finished, each of us chose a fortune cookie. I was second of three people and selected the fortune cookie furthest away from me, which is actually contrary to my normal habit and at that moment I had a flash of a thought. To myself I asked ‘what if there were no fortune in the cookie?”

Yes, it happened, I opened a fortune cookie that contained no fortune. In other words there was no piece of paper inside the fortune cookie, this never happened to me before,  and I never heard of it happening to anyone else. What did it mean? What should I do? Google (search) it, of course….

If there is no fortune in a fortune cookie, it is a sign that something good will happen to you soon. (Because fortunecookie-fairy owes you one fortune.) Source: We created this rule as a solution to one of frequently asked questions.

Fortune Cookie – Rules

eatfortunecookie.com/rules.htm

Rules
Do not grab the cookie closest to you, but the one furthest away when served by the host or hostess.

Pick a cookie that is most closely “pointing” towards you (i.e. the 2 pointed ends, not the rounded part, is facing you).

if you rip your fortune, it will not come true.
Source: We received this rule from one of our visitors (thank you!).

You have to keep the fortune for it to come true.
You cannot look at all the fortunes first, then claim the best one as your own – or give the worst one to someone else.

After reading the fortune, you must not tell anyone your fortune, and then eat your fortune cookie and put paper on fire for it to come true.

If there is no fortune in a fortune cookie, it is a sign that something good will happen to you soon. (Because fortune-cookie-fairy owes you one fortune.)

If you get 2 fortunes in 1 cookie, they cancel each other out. The fortune from the next cookie is the one you will receive.

If you text your fortune to one person that is very close, the fortune can come true for both you and the person you texted!

In order for fortune to work, you cannot tell anyone what it says.

You can’t look at the fortune until you are done eating the entire cookie.

You have to eat the entire cookie in order for the fortune (that came from the cookie) to come true.

You cannot pick your own fortune cookie. (Someone has to give you a cookie)

* If you know or heard about any other rules about fortune cookie, please let us know.
* If you want to make up a new rule of your own and have others follow it, feel free to e-mail us the rule. Only the thing we ask is if you made up a rule, please state as such in the e-mail.

Igor Stravinsky (5 June 1882 – 6 April 1971) was a Russian-born composer, pianist, and conductor. He is widely considered one of the most influential composers of the 20th century. Stravinsky lived a remarkable life, during the most amazing era, among the most fascinating people but we may have never known about it, were it not for the genius of Pablo Picasso.

Stravinsky as drawn by Picasso in Paris on 31 December 1920
Igor Stravinsky as drawn by Pablo Picasso (dated 31 December 1920). Published in France in May 1921 in the program for the 14th season of the Ballets Russes at the Théâtre de la Gaîté-Lyrique in Paris.

Stravinsky despised the Bolsheviks as he was a staunch Monarchist, so the Russian revolution forced him to move to the Ukraine and then Switzerland, however it was the couturière Coco Chanel who invited Stravinsky and his family to reside at her new mansion “Bel Respiro” in the Paris suburb of Garches (until they could find a more suitable residence). Life became illustrious from that day forward, as he became the preeminent composer and conductor of the twentieth century.

During his later years in Paris, Stravinsky had developed professional relationships with key people in the United States: he was already working on his Symphony in C for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and he had agreed to deliver the prestigious Charles Eliot Norton Lectures at Harvard University during the 1939–40 academic year.

Despite the outbreak of World War II on 1 September 1939, the widowed Stravinsky sailed (alone) for the United States at the end of the month, arriving in New York City and thence to Cambridge, Massachusetts, to fulfill his engagement at Harvard. Vera followed him in January, and they were married in Bedford, Massachusetts, on 9 March 1940.

Stravinsky settled in West Hollywood. He spent more time living in Los Angeles than any other city. He became a naturalized United States citizen in 1945. In 1969, Stravinsky moved to the Essex House in New York, where he lived until his death in 1971 at age 88 of heart failure. He was buried at San Michele, close to the tomb of Sergei Diaghilev.

He has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and in 1987 he was posthumously awarded the Grammy Award for Lifetime Achievement. He was posthumously inducted into the National Museum of Dance’s Mr. & Mrs. Cornelius Vanderbilt Whitney Hall of Fame in 2004.

Personality of Igor Fyodorovich Stravinsky

Stravinsky had adapted to life in France, but moving to America at the age of 57 was a very different prospect. For a while, he maintained a circle of contacts and emigré friends from Russia, but he eventually found that this did not sustain his intellectual and professional life. He was drawn to the growing cultural life of Los Angeles, especially during World War II, when so many writers, musicians, composers and conductors settled in the area: these included Otto Klemperer, Thomas Mann, Franz Werfel, George Balanchine and Arthur Rubinstein. Bernard Holland claimed Stravinsky was especially fond of British writers, who visited him in Beverly Hills, “like W. H. Auden, Christopher Isherwood, Dylan Thomas. They shared the composer’s taste for hard spirits – especially Aldous Huxley, with whom Stravinsky spoke in French”. Stravinsky and Huxley had a tradition of Saturday lunches for west coast avant-garde and luminaries.

Stravinsky displayed a taste in literature that was wide and reflected his constant desire for new discoveries. The texts and literary sources for his work began with a period of interest in Russian folklore, which progressed to classical authors and the Latin liturgy and moved on to contemporary France (André Gide, in Persephone) and eventually English literature, including Auden, T. S. Eliot and medieval English verse. He also had an inexhaustible desire to explore and learn about art, which manifested itself in several of his Paris collaborations. Not only was he the principal composer for Diaghilev’s Ballets Russes, but he also collaborated with Picasso (Pulcinella, 1920), Jean Cocteau (Oedipus Rex, 1927), and George Balanchine (Apollon musagète, 1928). His interest in art propelled him to develop a strong relationship with Picasso, whom he met in 1917, announcing that in “a whirlpool of artistic enthusiasm and excitement I at last met Picasso.” From 1917 to 1920, the two engaged in an artistic dialogue in which they exchanged small-scale works of art to each other as a sign of intimacy, which included the famous portrait of Stravinsky by Picasso, and Stravinsky’s “Sketch of Music for the Clarinet”. This exchange was essential to establish how the artists would approach their collaborative space in Pulcinella.

According to Robert Craft, Stravinsky remained a confirmed monarchist throughout his life and loathed the Bolsheviks from the very beginning. In 1930, he remarked, “I don’t believe that anyone venerates Mussolini more than I … I know many exalted personages, and my artist’s mind does not shrink from political and social issues. Well, after having seen so many events and so many more or less representative men, I have an overpowering urge to render homage to your Duce. He is the saviour of Italy and – let us hope – Europe”. Later, after a private audience with Mussolini, he added, “Unless my ears deceive me, the voice of Rome is the voice of Il Duce. I told him that I felt like a fascist myself… In spite of being extremely busy, Mussolini did me the great honour of conversing with me for three-quarters of an hour. We talked about music, art and politics”. When the Nazis placed Stravinsky’s works on the list of “Entartete Musik“, he lodged a formal appeal to establish his Russian genealogy and declared, “I loathe all communism, Marxism, the execrable Soviet monster, and also all liberalism, democratism, atheism, etc.” Towards the end of his life, at Craft’s behest, Stravinsky made a return visit to his native country and composed a cantata in Hebrew, traveling to Israel for its performance.

Stravinsky proved adept at playing the part of a ‘man of the world’, acquiring a keen instinct for business matters and appearing relaxed and comfortable in public. His successful career as a pianist and conductor took him to many of the world’s major cities, including Paris, Venice, Berlin, London, Amsterdam and New York and he was known for his polite, courteous and helpful manner. Stravinsky was reputed to have been a philanderer and was rumored to have had affairs with high-profile partners, such as Coco Chanel. He never referred to it himself, but Chanel spoke about the alleged affair at length to her biographer Paul Morand in 1946; the conversation was published thirty years later. The accuracy of Chanel’s claims has been disputed by both Stravinsky’s widow, Vera, and by Craft. Chanel’s fashion house avers there is no evidence that any affair between Chanel and Stravinsky ever occurred. A fictionalization of the supposed affair formed the basis of the novel Coco and Igor (2002) and a film, Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky (2009). Despite these alleged liaisons, Stravinsky was considered a family man and devoted to his children.

For most of my adult life, from the age of twenty-two, I lived in the tropics. This year I’m enjoying the Canadian winter and being with my family but I’m pining for the palms. Thinking about balmy Brazilian nights at this time of the year and remembering the giant palm trees. The reality is though, according to the “Farmers Almanac” this is a legendary moon and a very beautiful one, here tonight in Canada.

Full Snow Moon

Full Snow Moon

February’s full Moon is traditionally called the Full Snow Moon because usually the heaviest snows fall in February. This name dates back to the Native Americans during Colonial times when the Moons were a way of tracking the seasons. And the Native Americans were right. On average, February is the USA’s snowiest month, according to data from the National Weather Service.

Hunting becomes very difficult, and so some Native American tribes called this the Hunger Moon. Other Native American tribes called this Moon the “Shoulder to Shoulder Around the Fire Moon” (Wishram Native Americans), the “No Snow in the Trails Moon” (Zuni Native Americans), and the “Bone Moon” (Cherokee Native Americans). The Bone Moon meant that there was so little food that people gnawed on bones and ate bone marrow soup.
